Transparency and Ingredients
Antra’s transparency means you can enjoy every drop knowing exactly what touches your skin. At Antra Botanicals, transparency isn’t a marketing trick — it’s integral to how we create. That’s why we share not only what goes into our bottles, but also what we leave out. Unlike most perfume houses, we are honest about everything—from our ingredients to our vendors—because you deserve to know what touches your skin and enters your breath.
Our Foundations
• Base: Cold-pressed Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil. Light, stable, and skin-friendly, it carries fragrance beautifully.
• Oils & Extracts: Pure essential oils, CO₂ extracts, and botanicals sourced from trusted vendors (Tattvalogy, Aroma Treasures, Veda Oils).
•For one scent that doesn't exist as a natural extract (like lily-of-the-valley), we use safe, nature-identical molecules that have been tested for skin safety. We only do this when naturals aren’t possible or sustainable.
What You Will Never Find Here
❌ Synthetic fragrance oils
❌ Solvent-extracted absolutes with residue (we choose CO₂ extracts where needed instead)
❌ Animal products (musk, ambergris, civet, castoreum)
❌ Phthalates, parabens, dyes, or fillers
❌ Alcohol bases (our perfumes are oil-based, not ethanol-based)
Naturally Occurring Compounds
Plants are made of many natural scent molecules. Some have ‘chemical-sounding’ names like linalool in lavender or citral in citrus — but they come straight from flowers, leaves, or peels. These are safe for most people but must be listed in case someone has extra-sensitive skin. We never add them separately, but we list them because they can be potential allergens. Full disclosures appear on every product page.
Our Clean Standard
“Clean perfume” for us means:
• Skin-safe concentrations
• Only botanicals or safe aroma molecules where nature provides no sustainable option
•Honest ingredient disclosure — no hidden catch-alls
Perfume can be a veil of mystery without hiding the truth.
